Data deletion

Last updated: 1 October 2026

How to remove your data from Glappi, including what Glappi received from Facebook, Instagram and Bluesky.

1. Remove a connected social account

In Glappi, open Connections, choose the account and remove it. Its access token is deleted immediately, and Glappi can no longer publish to it or read its statistics. Posts already published stay on the network; delete them there if you want them gone.

You can also cut Glappi off from the network's side:

  • Facebook and Instagram: in Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), select Glappi and remove it. In Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites.
  • Bluesky: Settings → Privacy and security → App passwords, and delete the password you created for Glappi.

Removing Glappi on Facebook alone doesn't delete what Glappi stored (post statistics and the account's name). To delete that too, remove the connection in Glappi or ask us as described below.

2. Delete posts and images

Delete posts on the Posts page. Their images are deleted automatically within a few days once no post uses them.

3. Delete your whole account

Send an email to mail@glappi.com from the email address you use for Glappi, asking us to delete your account. We'll confirm and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

  • If you own a Glappi account: its subscription is cancelled and all its workspaces, posts, images, connected accounts, statistics and credits are deleted. Team members lose access.
  • If you're a team member: your login and profile are deleted and you leave every team. Posts you wrote stay with the team that owns them.

We keep invoices and payment records only as long as accounting and tax law requires. More in the Privacy Policy.
